Job Information

The Treasury Analyst is responsible for the daily cash management activity for Doosan Infracore North America (DINA).  This position will ensure that the appropriate controls are in place for cash handling, payment receipts and payment disbursements.  Responsibilities also include daily cash reporting, electronic banking, executing cash flow forecasts, foreign exchange settlements, ad-hoc analysis projects and administration works related to treasury. 

Role & Responsibility

  • Responsible for performing prior day daily cash reconciliation and same day cash reporting functions.
  • Prepares and initiates Electronic Fund Transfers and associated release of Accounts Payable, Payroll and Tax payments.
  • Manages bank balances, bank signatories and access to electronic banking for audit reports and internal compliance audit.
  • Prepares and posts daily cash transactions to the General Ledger.
  • Prepares ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making
  • Participates in maintenance of Treasury banking systems, and will be involved in additional system implementations when required.
  • As directed, involved in analyzing and paying bank services and other related fees.
  • Must troubleshoot with banks in handling requests/queries.
  • Maintain bank documentation and scanning and storage of records.
  • Supports and serves as back up to Director Treasury
  • Liaise closely with internal departments including Accounting, Tax, Legal, etc. for all Treasury related questions

Job Requirement

  • Knowledge of Treasury processes
  • Knowledge of basic accounting
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks; adherence to deadlines and internal controls
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Education:  Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • Experience:  3>5 years, +3 years cash management experience preferred, work experience in manufacturing preferred, understanding of accounting acumen and experience with SAP system preferred
  • Travel:  < 10%
