Job Information

The TQM Manager is responsible for executing and reporting TQM strategies and governance for NAO; collaborating with other regional TQM offices and the global TQM office; updating and improving an NAO Business Management System; ensuring ISO compliance and certification; organizing NAO Quality Board; managing customer satisfaction systems, processes and results.

Role & Responsibility

TQM Governance

  • Implement TQM governance process and monitor progress through formal, continuous assessments.
  • Serve on OPEX/TQM Council.
  • Responsible for organizing NAO Quality Board.

Functional Capability

  • Drive adoption of a customer-centric philosophy by bringing awareness of deficiencies in current state to managers & employees of each function, assisting them in developing their plan to improve and tracking their progress

TQM Strategy

  • TQM Road map communication and implementation

ISO Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with ISO regulations at all sites.
  • Execute external and internal ISO audits to meet and exceed requirements.

Business Management System

  • Document all standard work, processes and tools that is accessible to all employees to ensure proper training and consistency & continuity of work performed

Resource Prioritization

  • Manage initiatives within North American region-wide project prioritization process to ensure priority projects are staffed appropriately to effectively complete projects in the shortest time possible

Customer Satisfaction

  • Manage the system, process and budget for measuring End-user customer satisfaction.
  • Access results drive awareness internally and to dealer channel.

Job Requirement

  • Travel required:10 - 24 % travel
  • Education required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or related field
  • Experience required: 7>10 years
  • LSS Belt Certifie - Green required, Black preferred
  • Experience with TQM processes and initiatives.
  • Experience with Quality systems and processes.
  • Thorough understanding Key North American AOPO and LRP goals and objectives, key business processes and governance practices, operations and NAO business systems.
  • Strong business acumen and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and implement change management initiatives.
  • Effective process-driven mindset, while still able to execute/deliver results
  • Experience preferred in product management, operations, quality, supplier development, and logistics.

  • Identify customer touch points
  • Understand key responsibilites impact the customer
  • Prioritize key responsibilities to work on
  • Develop a strategy to improve performance
  • Determine how to measure and monitor progress on key responsibilties

  • Gaining buy-in from all employees across all functional areas to create a customer-centric culture
  • Maintaining focus on establishing the foundation for long term sustainable success while simultaneously assisting the organization in achieving short term results
  • Leverage existing processes and structures where possible to avoid redundancies and duplication of efforts
