Location: Bismarck, Gwinner, Wahpeton, or West Fargo, ND

Interface with Sourcing Managers, Strategic Sourcing, Tactical Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Supplier Development, NPD sourcing and Suppliers to identify, understand, consolidate and communicate the Sourcing requirements to ensure effective supply chain execution. Provide standard processes, training and tools for efficient supply chain governance. Reinforce and professionalize Doosan’s strategic and operational sourcing processes.

Role & Responsibility

Operational Performance

  • Define, build and implement the key business processes (sourcing, supplier development, talent management…), business tools, metrics and contracts for the Supply Chain function, in coherence with the Doosan Global Sourcing System (DGSS).
  • Create, document and maintain regional sourcing processes such as standard work, training documentation and miscellaneous reporting templates through management direction.
  • Coordinate and lead training on regional sourcing processes with internal and external candidates.
  • Ensure Supply Chain compliance of documented processes and tools internally & externally.
  • Manage and own supplier scorecard creation, validation and communication.
  • Monitor industry best practices and implement concepts within Doosan Bobcat.

Financial Result

  • Make sure the main KPIs are implemented and followed.
  • Bring financial and economic support in the preparation of the strategic decisions. 
  • Support the AOP and LRP cycles.
  • Monitor the relevant external economic environment indicators and ensure their communication and usage for business monitoring, risk management and planning purposes. 

Business Development

  • Assume key role in maintenance and development of tools to facilitate improved supply
  • chain functionality such as ERP, EFI, SRM, ECN, EPM Live, CSR, Contract Management, PLM, NPD systems, etc.
  • Administer NAO supplier relationship management programs including supplier portal, supplier council, supplier recognition, contract management, corporate social responsibility, etc.
  • Build plan to manage REACH/ROHS compliance and management of information related to Suppliers and SKU’s.
  • Monitor and administer regulatory programs such as small business reporting, conflict minerals, REACH, etc. including managing the relationship with AEM, internal stake holders (Engineering, Sourcing, and Finance).
  • Build strong value adding relationships with suppliers, internal customers, and cross-functional departments between Bobcat and DPP.  
  • Assist in developing common processes between operating units.
  • Assist with global sourcing process standardization such as the Doosan Global Sourcing System, Global ERP platforms, etc.
  • Manage, Lead, Develop and Maintain Supplier Relationship Tool.
  • Align needs globally of the supplier partners and internal stakeholders.

Talent Management

  • Effective management of Sourcing Analyst, Interns, Supplier Development engineers and Sourcing Specialist in training.
  • Coaching and mentoring to create a strong talent pipeline.
  • Develop and deliver training plans. 
  • Administer sourcing training programs such as Global Sourcing Academy, ERP administration, Doosan Global Sourcing System and related standard work.

Job Requirement

  • Prior experience in project management, process description, working with a supply chain, and in an international environment.
  • Understanding of financials and economics.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for excellence.
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • 2+ years of Supply Chain experience.
  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • 10 - 24 % travel.
