You’ve spent a great deal of time in the classroom, now we’re giving you a chance to put that learning into practice.  As a co-op, you’ll learn solid business practices in the product and service areas from some of the best Training, Warranty, Product Managers, Engineers, Publications and Product Support professionals in the industry.  We always welcome your fresh, innovative ideas and create an atmosphere in which you can share them.

Role & Responsibility

The Service Product Co-op experience offers a variety of hands-on-training and exposure to the Service/Product group, specifically in:

  • Developing and producing operator and shop manuals
  • Actively engaging in measurement analysis utilizing statistical tools
  • Conducting warranty failed component analysis
  • Processing warranty return parts
  • Processing extended warranty plans
  • Conducting trend analysis for dealer warranty audit process
  • Developing business cases for new product development process
  • Monitoring competitive machines/trends monthly
  • Maintaining machine spec database
  • Monitoring dealer facing systems for specification and pricing accuracy
  • Developing training materials for service technician training
    • For classroom instruction
    • For on-line courses
  • Performing Training administrative duties

Job Requirement

  • Jr. or Sr. standing seeking a degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • 3.0 or higher GPA
  • Minimum of 20 hours/week, more hours a plus
  • Strong background in Microsoft Office Suite (especially in PowerPoint and graphics)
  • Excellent communications skills and a high level of motivation
  • Commitment to Doosan for the entire 8-month term of the co-op
