Job Information

This position is responsible for preparing the quarterly and annual tax provision and filing Federal and International tax returns. This position will also assist with State/Local income/franchise tax compliance.  This position also has responsibilities for performing tax research, responding to tax notices and answering audit information requests. The senior tax analyst should have a thorough understanding of tax compliance and tax accounting rules in order to ensure proper tax treatment of business related issues and identify possible tax saving opportunities.

Role & Responsibility

Tax Reserach & Special Projects

  • Track proposed/enacted tax law changes and evaluate the impact to the company
  • Perform R&D tax credit study and calculation
  • Maintain and monitor tax calendar to ensure timely filing of Federal,State/local income tax and sales/use, property taxes
  • Perform research analysis and respond to federal, state and local notices from taxing authorities
  • Assist with federal, state and local tax audits
  • Perform tax research and assist in providing answers to business request

Preparing Tax Returns and Tax Provision

  • Prepare Federal Income tax return to ensure timely/accurate reporting and compliance with US domestic law.Assist in State/Local Income and Franchise Tax Returns, Extensions and Estimated Payments
  • Prepare US International forms including Form 5471 and 5472
  • Prepare Canadian and Australian income tax return
  • Calculate various book tax difference and prepare UNICAP calculation
  • Prepare the quarterly and year end tax provision under IFRS and KIFRS
  • Prepare tax accounts roll forwards shceuldes
  • Provide AETR and guidance to local accounting teams to record monthly tax entries
  • Prepare return to provision true-up and quarterly valuation allowance analysis
  • Prepare and maintain tax basis balance sheet report
  • Calculate earnings/profit to assist management’s decision on stock distribution
  • Prepare uncertain tax positions schedules and FIN48 entries
  • Assist in preparing and filing monthly/quarterly/annual state/local sales and use, property tax and Canadian GST/HST returns
  • Maintain FA tax depreciation in Oracle
  • Assist in tax accounting method change filing of form 3115

Job Requirement

  • LOCATION: SUWANEE, GA
  • Education Required: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or equivalent field.
  • Experience Required: 5>7 years
  • Travel Required: <10%
  • 5 to 7 years corporate income tax experience in compliance/audit, tax accounting and research
  • MBA and CPA preferred
  • Previous major CPA firm or large multi-national corporation experience
  • MS Office, CCH Reserach Tool & Oracle/SAP ERP system experience preferred
