Job Information

Obtain, analyze and leverage research and data to create insight, identify new opportunity, develop techniques, tools, programs and initiatives to achieve market share, revenue, operating income and other strategic business objectives for dealer and customer facing functional areas.   

Role & Responsibility

Market Research

  • Support consistent adoption and utilization of the company’s methodology of capturing voice of market and voice of customer data.
  • Ensure the methodology is leveraged appropriately to execute tactical dealer/customer facing or product development business initiatives.

Strategic Marketing Initiatives

  • Support the development and adoption of marketing campaigns while evolving the measurement via new performance tools and metrics.

Strategic Market Performance

  • Assist in the development of analytic tools for dealer/customer facing functional areas that measure performance, market trends and prioritize different factors that impact the business.
  • Leverage the information to increase the amount of fact based decisions made in the organization.

Support Recruitment, and Dealer Profitability Strategies

  • The individual will identify dealership expansion opportunities for our current network using various methods of analytics and different market data resources.
  • Analyze income statements and balance sheets and make recommendations on areas of risk and profitability improvement.
  • Support the Dealer recruitment and Dealer Development teams on information and analysis on various offerings from our competitors in select markets.
  • Support any additional actions that further drive growth and improvement in the Rental, Parts, and Service aspects of the dealership as well as channel growth.

Job Requirement

  • Education Required: Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
  • Experience Required: 2>5 years
  • Travel Required: 25-50%
  • Demonstrated exceptional marketing, branding and communication competencies.
  • Former experience in channel/customer facing functional areas with construction equipment manufacturer desired.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Experience in vendor management competency preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence.
  • Tenacious execution.
  • Generate solutions based on critical analysis.
  • Maintain focus on high priority items.
  • Seek out new ideas and approaches.
  • Consistently demonstrate an eagerness to meet challenges (can’t is not a word). 
  • Business experience in sales and marketing preferred.
  • Preferred field experience calling on construction dealer network.

This role requires extreme customer focus on dealer and end-users. This individual should clearly understand the strucutre of the value chain and drivers of the organization.
