Job Information

The Sales & Marketing Analyst for the Heavy Equipment business unit is responsible for providing the analysis of real-time industry and customer information to facilitate Doosan making strategically accurate decisions to drive market share, communicate competitive advantages, and optimize sales, marketing and product directions. This position will drive the prioritization and creation of dashboards and reports across the business, leading to better monitoring of performance, cost and other metrics to help Doosan meets its revenue and share goals. The Sales & Marketing Analyst will have a role as a data steward, ensuring the accuracy of data being used and shared. 

Role & Responsibility

Dashboards & Reports Creation

  • Develop dashboards & reports in various preferred systems such as PowerBi, Salesforce, etc., to satisfy requests for intelligence
  • Create reports related to competitive activity and internal initiatives
  • Become an expert at the EDA, AEM, OBIEE and Salesforce report building and share knowledge


  • Work with the OBIEE Salesforce and other development teams to produce robust solutions, validate data, and solve minor issues
  • Contribute to UAT processes on the business side
  • Help drive requirements, validate data, test for system accuracy, and build reports across Marketing, Sales, Parts, and Service

Tool Adoption

  • Conduct regular training of how to use systems
  • Contribute to surveys of the usability of reports
  • Work with the IT Ops desk and development teams to collect and prioritize issues
  • Drive training programs to help field staff and dealers get up to speed on and use reports and new functionalities

Strategic Market Analysis

  • Develop comprehensive market share, coverage, SOR, Scorecard, Program, and other reports for the company

Job Requirement

  • Demonstrates the ability to analyze a large subset of data and provide recommended actions based on the concluded results. 
  • Communication skills that bridge the gap between technical resources (i.e. developers) and business resources (i.e. marketing managers, salespeople, etc).
  • Demonstrates advanced skills and capabilities in Excel and PowerBI
  • Exhibits a working knowledge of all toolbars in PowerPoint.
  • Proficient with database architecture, application and dashboard development.
  • Demonstrate ability to create the architecture and relationships of variables using both business rules
  • Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Economics required
  • Experience:  2>5 years, prior data analysis experience is required and at least one year of direct experience with Oracle Business Intelligence preferred.
  • Travel:  < 10%
