Job Information

The Product Trainer for the Doosan Heavy Equipment business will execute industry-leading training and education of Doosan dealer sales specialists, both individually & in group situations, on Doosan products & accessories. In addition to delivering the training, the Product Trainer will also be responsible for developing the training content and serve as the lead on one or more training programs.

Role & Responsibility


  • Conduct basic evaluations of features and performance
  • Work with engineering department to perform comparison tests on competitors and Doosan equipment

Customer Support

  • Develop product knowledge base to enhance ability to answer customer and dealer calls
  • Participate in product demonstrations, dealer open houses, sales blitzes, trade shows and fairs, and other field events
  • Operate department truck/trailer combinations, and load and haul equipment from site to site

Development of Training Content

  • Conduct Bootcamps, RPMs, DCI's, and develop content for Doosan University
  • Track competitor product activity, launches and web sites
  • Attend strategic trade shows to review new competitive equipment, maintain peak knowledge of competitors and learn about public strategies and suggest counter measures to product teams
  • Maintain competitor files for instant access to key competitor literature
  • Conduct data entry for competitive products and specification tracking
  • Provide to the Communication group information on competitive product topics
  • Develop competitive publications, comparisons and presentations
  • Maintain constant communication with customers, dealers and Account Managers

Job Requirement

  • Possession of a valid driver’s license is required.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to present to groups or individuals.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to follow written instructions.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to present to large and diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in data mining, research and analysis
  • Ability to independently lead specific Doosan training programs
  • Ability to develop industry leading online and in-person training content
  • Education:  Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Experience:  0>2 years, with a background/aptitude in agricultural, construction or industrial motorized, mobile equipment is essential.
  • Travel Time Required:  25 - 50%
