Job Information

The Product Mangement Applications Manager is responsible for identifying, leading and driving data process efficiencies and modernization initiatives that will have significant impact on the future of the product management team.  Aligning to the IT Technology LRP, the role will also act as the functional area’s “owner” for technical products such as SBOM platform, Zuora, VOC tech, etc..

Role & Responsibility

Product Data Strategy

  • Develop and drive the vision and road map for harnessing data dependent capabilities and opportunity.
  • Create governance policies for data management.

Digital Strategy

  • Collaborate with the product management team to translate their business needs into technical/service solutions.
  • Partners with IT to create an enablement roadmap.

Project Management

  • Drive implementation of technical projects from the standpoint of the product management team ensuring that the team’s needs are being met.

System Administrator

  • Lead a team in providing technical administration support for the applications that are utilized by the product management team.
  • Act as a liason between the Product Management team and IT.

Job Requirement

  • Education Required: Bacherlors or Masters degree in applied mathematics, computer science, engineering, marketing research or equivalent field
  • Experience Required: 10-15 years
  • Travel Required: >20%
  • Experience in creating/maintaining a Sales Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Experience framing problems, analyzing solutions, building models, developing decks, facilitating / participating in meetings, and presenting to small audiences
  • Ability to work across several projects concurrently
  • Strong and demonstrated teaming skills, especially in cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with internal teams to iterate on product concepts and deliver capabilities that will enable accleration of growth
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment
  • Superior analytical skills, research capabilities and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively persuade/influence
  • Ability to create a team environment that develops individuals through collaboration, leveraging and evolving skill sets while constantly improving processes
  • Exceptional Coaching/Mentoring Managerial Skills
  • Strong business acumen, strategy, problem solving, math/statistics and programming skillset.
  • Highest ethical standards
  • 5+ years of project management experience utilizing Agile methodolgy
  • Experience in managing data in an ERP (Oracle preferred) or a PLM (PTC Windchill)
  • Experience as an administrator for end users systems such as Salesforce and Zuora
  • Preferred; 5+ years in consulting type role
