Job Information

This position will be responsible for the following responsibilities for the Doosan Portable Power Marketing team: marketing communications, tactical marketing and research, branding, public relations and social media.  Global coordination is required to assure a similar marketing message, branding and literature has been considered and communicated for a global brand.

Role & Responsibility

Marketing Communication

  • Manage public relations. Approve activity, coordinate with support staff, manage the schedule and placement of the information to the publications. Assign stories to be rewritten for the media. Coordinate photo shoots.  Produce product launch kit material and distribute to channel for new products.
  • Make updates to literature and manage the external agency for fulfillment.
  • Aid with trade show messaging.
  • Assure updated information for Dealer Net Tool.
  • Maintain global Doosan Portable Power website with updated information. Maintain Passport photo library, literature, and other branding communications.  Design and update literature and marketing collateral. 
  • Negotiate media placement and plan, filling insertion orders, and managing the media plan closely.  

Branding

  • Lead the global brand transition including the website, advertising, public relations, dealer communications and global machine decal scheme.

Tactical Marketing and Research

  • Draft and implement surveys on brand/product. Liaison with 3rd party marketing firms to get Voice Of Customer (VOC) from our media placements. Budget tracking of advertising spend along with creation of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) budget.

Social Media

  • Create and implement social media strategy to drive product/brand awareness. Maintain positive presence on Doosan Portable Power social media sites.
  • Edit and manage all social media content, including photographs, videos, audio, links, and discussion threads to ensure it reflects Doosan values and standards.
  • Review available data including website analytics and adjust social media strategy as needed to drive maximum positive exposure.

Trade Show & Event Coordination

  • Assist with event and show planning during seasonal peak periods.
  • Work with District Managers to gain feedback on regional shows that are of potential interest.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment and industry is helpful, but not required.  2>5 years of experience, preferably in a B2B environment.  Sound understanding of consumer behavior.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation experience.
  • Effective analytical and negotiation abilities.
  • Project planning and project management experience.
  • Innovative and creative mindset.
  • Sound time management and priority focus.
  •  Travel required - 5-10%.
