Job Information

The position will be responsible for conducting the analytics to support the Dealer Recruitment, Dealer Profitability and the Dealer Rental Strategy.  This will include the evaluation of various industry reports and data, census and other government data in identifying the priority dealer expansion opportunities.  Vast past knowledge and experience in dealer’s performance metrics, dealership operational best practices are a must.  

Role & Responsibility

Support the Recruitment, and Dealer Profitability Strategies

  • The individual will have responsibility of analyzing the current Bobcat dealer coverage and in applying the dealer performance metrics will identify and maintain a priority target of open markets and future dealer opportunities
  • The individual will identify dealership expansion opportunities for our current network using various methods of analytics and different market data resources.
  • Review dealer pro-forma and validate against industry and Bobcat metrics the viability and cash flow of the proposals.
  • Prepare dealer prospectus for the recruitment team that highlight the opportunity and expected ROI.  This includes a cash flow analysis
  • Analyze income statements and balance sheets and make recommendations on areas of risk and profitability improvement.
  • Support the Dealer recruitment and Dealer Development teams on information and analysis on various offerings from our competitors in select markets.
  • Support the Dealer Profitability Managers with market trend information including managing the ARA Market Monitor data.
  • Prepare and conduct the prep work on the peer group presentations and the Dealer Financial Profile.
  • Responsibility to enhance and identify innovative improvements to the recruitment and Dealer Development customer engagement tools.
  • Support the Dealer Profitability team on programs that assist dealers in improving operations and providing a consistent high-level interaction with customers.
  • Assist with the design and analytics of the various department forecasting tools.
  • Provide monthly market share (total and dealer rental) analysis on the top priority markets.
  • The position will require past experience in the management of dealer operations to profit and loss goals.
  • Support any additional actions that further drive growth and improvement in the Rental, Parts, and Service aspects of the dealership as well as channel growth.

Job Requirement

  • Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Marketing
  • Experience Required: >10 years
  • Travel Required: <25%
  • Position will be based in West Fargo, ND
  • Knowledge of financial accounting and past forecasting experience
  • Vast knowledge of the management of income statements and balance sheets is preferred.
  • Past operations experience in managing compact and heavy equipment
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Power BI)
