Job Information

Segment Application Assistant Marketing Manager (SAMM Supervisor) is responsible for developing new applications and implementing them to the region by business planning, conducting field training and demonstrations of all the Attachments used with all Bobcat products and their applications.

Role & Responsibility

Market Creation

  • Identify current application situation analysis and make a plan to create new market opportunities.
  • Collect Bobcat attachments VOC and provide competitors’ information including price details
  • Analyze and introduce new applications from other regions and/or competitors
  • Share collected information to HQ

Field Training and Demos

  • Develop an annual training plan for dealers, including research for dealer training demand, alignment with marketing strategies and budgeting.
  • Develop and execute Train The Trainer programs (when applicable)
  • Train dealer salesmen on the products and  application including hands on field demonstration of use and application of attachments
  • Follow-up dealer results after demo/training, including training gap analysis and training optimization.
  • Develop training materials in local languages

Business Development

  • Provide quarterly biz review report of Attachments btw sale’s target and result and set up the catch up plan
  • Update annual pricing and announce to dealer
  • List up of local attachments demand and report to HQ
  • Make a seasonal or yearly promotion draft to expand new market and demo program
  • Convert market opportunities to Demo activities and finalize to firm orders

Job Requirement

Education and Qualifications

BS Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field. Engineering preferred

Knowledge and Skills

Job Related:

  • Strong business knowledge of market segments and customers of construction equipment
  • Ability to operate machinery
  • Verbal training skill to dealers and end users

General

  • Ability to use MS Office with emphasis in Power Point and Excel
  • Ability to communicate in English & Spanish. Portuguese non mandatory but considered a plus
  • Open mindset to cooperate with cross regions
