Job Information

Represent Bobcat Company on incoming and outgoing calls and cases relating to Aftermarket Parts questions and requests.  Respond to a daily average of 70 incoming dealer phone calls and email requests while maintaining a positive/respectful voice tone.  Actively promote the use of Salesforce Call Trac system to the dealer network to capture data and provide additional service to the dealers.  Advise dealers on the availability of Aftermarket Parts in respect to their needs. Actively promote the sale of Aftermarket Parts via phone and email correspondence with dealers to answer and investigate dealer needs. Expedite and follow up on availability and shipment of parts and new product orders.  Work with Field Parts Managers and District Sales Manager to manage Dealer/Customer relationship for new product and aftermarket operations.

Role & Responsibility

  • Support a region of approximately 125-150 dealers.
  • Communicate daily with other departments within the company (Materials, Engineering, Purchasing, Tech Services), as well as field staff, parts warehouse, dealers and customers to support the dealer channel.
  • Maintain a positive relationship and composure with the dealer channel during communications.
  • Expedite and follow-up on availability and shipment of orders to satisfy needs of the dealers.
  • Verify and change shipment locations of orders as needed.
  • Investigate sources and research technical information to determine action necessary to meet parts and new product needs for dealers.
  • Maintain good written and oral communications with affected parties.
  • Process, schedule and edit dealer orders to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of dealers’ needs.
  • Understand engineering prints and verify product accuracy that ships from warehouse.  
  • Field travel/dealer contact to establish relationships with dealers within an assigned territory.
  • Authorize returns and invoice adjustments for credit.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  Associate’s Degree with 1-2 years of experience will be considered.
  • Experience in a customer service environment or parts related/technical service field preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Effective cross-functional teamwork skills.
  • Ability to understand work and process flows to manage orders and supporting operations.
    MS Office Suite competency; above average computer skillset.
  • Travel: < 10%
