Job Information

The E-Marketing Specialist position is responsible for the operational management of the website, SEO sustainment program and digital channel execution. This position will lead the day-to-day execution and delivery of digital marketing campaigns via paid search, social media, online advertising and email campaigns, focusing on using analytics to drive engagement and conversion.

Role & Responsibility

Marketing Website Management

  • Develop and maintain the website with value-added, timely relevant content, and use analytical tools to improve value.
  • Manage the website sustainment program to ensure content development and IT change requests are in-line with the platform strategy roadmap and meeting ongoing strategic communication needs.
  • Use JIRA to manage through-put of content updates, adhering to process requirements Support new website projects as needed.
  • Implement SEO strategy as defined in partnership with the E-Marketing Analyst. 
  • Communicate and coordinate projects utilizing vendors and consultants. Work with and engage stakeholders from various departments in a positive, productive way.
  • Continually monitor and suggest improvements for the usability, content and conversion points of the company website to support the company’s annual marketing priorities.

Online Marketing Tactics

  • Responsible for leading the day-to-day execution and delivery of digital marketing campaigns via paid search, social media, online advertising and email campaigns.
  • Increase lead acquisition efforts by researching and testing the effectiveness of various online marketing tactics and stay abreast of new developments/trends in online marketing.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the company’s social media channels on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and others: Engage and increase followers, approve written content, initiate and respond to conversation, identify and nurture niche communities and audiences, and participate in like sites to draw followers.
  • Monitor content on all branded channels to ensure consistency of brand tone and aesthetics, re-enforcing a cohesive brand experience.
  • Interact with agency channel teams manage tactical plans through to completion.

ROI Measurement

  • Proactively manage and measure effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and platform performance, including budget and creative content.
  • Identify trends and opportunities within the digital space tied to tactical execution, SEO sustainment and website strategy.
  • Benchmark digital activities against those of our peers in the industry; improve digital marketing strategy and tactics to “get ahead of the curve”.

Job Requirement

  • Education Required: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience Required: 3-5 years
  • Travel Required: <10%
  • A minimum of 3 years’ work experience directly managing online and digital campaigns, projects, marketing systems and processes.
  • Experience in website design and content management.
  • Experience managing successful social media campaigns, and a solid understanding of social marketing.
  • Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data.
  • Proven grasp of all Paid Search mediums including remarketing, display & content, mobile, video
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems and proven analytical skills
  • Marketing Automation solution experience is a plus.
  • Experience in and understanding of basic SEO principles and how they relate to other facets of digital marketing
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate the goals, capabilities, and strategy of digital marketing.
  • Understanding of online marketing tactics along with a drive for/experience in results-focused Marketing
  • Highly organized and ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects with a strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.), and social analytics tools
  • Strong Attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in an environment with shifting priorities and time-sensitive deadlines
  • Manage projects, particularly issue management and resolution inherent with technology projects.
  • Coordinate resolution of technical difficulties with e-marketing tools with vendors (e.g. Sundog).
  • Help customers who have trouble navigating the site. Getting appropriate images on the site. Working with various stakeholders from various departments.
